Who handles your information
Demo Auctions (“Seller”) handles personal information connected with this storefront, its listings, auctions, orders, customer communications, pickup, shipping, and refunds. Auction Stand hosts the storefront and processes information for Seller while also handling platform-account information under its separate Platform Privacy Policy.
Information and purposes
Seller may receive your name, contact and account details, bids and watchlist activity, orders, payment status and transaction identifiers, pickup or shipping details, support messages, refund records, and fraud or audit information. Seller uses it to operate auctions, complete sales and fulfillment, communicate about transactions, provide support, prevent abuse, keep business records, comply with law, and establish or defend claims.
Sharing
Seller does not sell personal information. Information may be processed through Auction Stand and vendors supporting payment processing, email, hosting, storage, security, shipping, accounting, and professional advice. It may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect rights and safety, for a business transfer, or at your direction. Providers may operate in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions.
Payment data
Full payment-card details are handled by the payment processor. Seller generally receives payment status, amount, method summary, and transaction identifiers needed to complete and support the sale.
Retention and security
Seller retains records for as long as reasonably needed for fulfillment, support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal duties, then deletes or de-identifies them where appropriate. Seller and its providers use safeguards proportionate to the information, although no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may request access or correction, ask about a privacy practice, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or exercise other rights available under applicable law. Some transaction and legal records cannot be deleted immediately. Marketing choices do not stop operational messages about an auction, order, security event, or legal obligation.
